JOIN OUR COMPLIMENTARY WEBINAR: Cracking the IR Code: Tips for Mastering Embolization Coding

Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 2 pm ET

Correct CPT® coding for embolization procedures can be difficult due to the complexity of the coding rules. In this session, interventional radiology coding expert Stacie Buck will provide tips for deciphering documentation and break down all of the CPT® coding rules for the various embolization procedures, including TACE, SIRT, CARTO, BRTO, neuroembolization and many more. Also, Stacie will discuss when it is permissible to report diagnostic angiography codes in addition to the embolization codes when performed during the same session. If embolization coding sometimes leaves you in a confused daze, this session is for you.

You will receive one AHIMA CEU in Data Structure, Content and Information Governance when you attend this webinar.*

TruCode by TruBridge offers innovative medical coding software solutions to the hospital, consulting and healthcare IT markets. The brand began as an independent company named TruCode in 2005, when a passionate and experienced team of health information professionals set out to develop the industry’s most intuitive encoder. The release of Encoder Essentials in 2011 — a set of web services and components that allow TruCode's encoder technology to be embedded within other software platforms — took the company to new heights. Industry-leading Computer-Assisted Coding (CAC), Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) and auditing solutions providers continue to partner with TruCode by TruBridge to incorporate their encoder functionality into their own software.

In 2021, CPSI saw the value of bringing leading coding technology to their TruBridge business and acquired TruCode. The move has allowed the team at TruCode by TruBridge to push their encoder solutions to new levels and enhance TruBridge’s patient management and revenue cycle solutions, helping both more effectively clear the way for care.
